    Matt_magpie - come on.

Just for once, take black and white spectacles off and embrace reality.

Morecambe are bottom of the league. They haven’t had a clean sheet in 19 games. I would therefore argue in fact that quite a few teams have had an ‘easy ride’ with Morecambe recently - we’re just not one of them!

Today is a pretty disappointing result and exhibits some of the squad depth issues that some of us were so roundly criticised for raising a few weeks ago.

I really don't know what the squad depth wallies expect. We're 4th, averaging nearly 2pts a game with a list of injuries. Should we have a second first team or magically acquire star players in anticipation of selected injury positions ? It is what it is and we're doing OK.

Horrible game always the same at these sh.tty little grounds but the positive is we didn't lose, need these injured players back ASAP.

Almost everybody has now played 4 at home and 4 away.
Notts are in 1st place in the away table, but down in 8th at home.

Notts still yet to concede a league goal this season later than the 46th minute.

    1ST HALF:
    Goals For: 6
    Against: 7

    2ND HALF:
    Goals For: 9
    Against: 1

Points on the road is always alright at this level, particularly with players missing. Got to start games quicker though, can’t keep leave yourselves chasing it.

Did they score in injury time? My 1st impressions are yes the ball was over, but have only seen it from 1 angle

Some games you have to grind out a point or 3 & not play well. This was 1 of them. More frustrating was last week

Totally agree before the game you expect us win but football doesn’t work like that lower down, we were very poor first half and sometimes at L2 level, a change in mentality and getting a point away is ok, even if the bars low, dust yerself down take the point. I’ve seen many a Notts team roll over before in a game like that.
We haven’t got massive strength in depth, who has at this level? Palmers at about 80%, No Jatta, no Jones. To be clear on the whole I’m not over the moon with the point but sometimes a point like that keeps yer ticking along.
