I wasn't there, but for me this is a disappointing result and two points dropped rather than one point gained. I accept we have been badly hit by injuries, but this was Morecambe. No wins, bottom of the table, can't keep a clean sheet. A decent result if we are happy to finish mid table, but a poor one if we are aiming higher.

I don't think you can divorce it from the context of having key players like Jones and Jatta missing. If they had been available then yes of course it would be a disappointing result, but if we're without someone like Jones for this game and several to follow, then of course it tempers our chances of promotion, but that would be the same for any team in League Two. At this level, teams don't have multiple star players in their depth chart, and luck with injuries can change what's possible. It is what it is. Let's just hope Jodi - who is effectively irreplaceable - isn't out for too long.

Table can be misleading at this time of season. I watched Notts podcast. Their fan guest seemed confident.

Grant looks a very poor replacement for Nemane.
Thought we looked better after all the subs were made

Bad result. Could've been worse. Sort it out Stu.

Just for once, take black and white spectacles off and embrace reality.

Morecambe are bottom of the league. They haven’t had a clean sheet in 19 games. I would therefore argue in fact that quite a few teams have had an ‘easy ride’ with Morecambe recently - we’re just not one of them!

Today is a pretty disappointing result and exhibits some of the squad depth issues that some of us were so roundly criticised for raising a few weeks ago.
    What are you talking about?
So you’re now being proved right because we haven’t got another Jodi Jones? That’s incredible insight, how did nobody else see it?!
We’re not going to have backup players in every position that sit on a bench but when called upon are among the best players in the league.
    Thats called Man City!

Hindsight never loses. Teams in our division aren't going to have top class strikers sitting on the bench every week just in case we get injuries. It is unusual to lose so many players all at once but we can't afford to be paying good players a decent wage just in case of this scenario.

I implore both TPM and CBP to read more than once Jackal2, KTD and i1961 comments. It should be obvious but if you do it should save everyone involved more time in the future .

In an unrealistic world we would surely all prefer a bigger squad with promotion quality top L2 players happily sat on the bench ready to step in when all our key players are out injured.

Instead we have the known realism that in the absence of our best player, best forward and most physical midfielder from the match day squad all at the same time significantly weakens us. I know crazy stuff right.

Come on Montague and Reedtzs sort it out.

I’d argue that Man City don’t have all bases covered either. They have lost Rodri and limped to a draw yesterday. If they lost Haaland, the goals would dry up. Yes they have incredible players in the squad, but some of the first choices are irreplaceable, like JJ for us.
