No ‘someone’ isn’t bored, someone is trying to make the forum a better place for sensible discussion. I posted a few days ago after lots of pointless too and fro about Islam (including but not quite mainly from yourself) that we’d have an Islam free week and any posts would be deleted. There aren’t that many posts on here and you do seem to read them also or sure how you missed that one

Well maybe. Perhaps you’re confusing the term ‘moderator’ with ‘dictator’, AF.
When things get unpleasant, I sympathise with you - or your role at least - and I wholeheartedly agree with your attempt you eradicate name calling and maliciousness.
When it comes to you attempting to determine what can and cannot be talked about on here I have less sympathy.
It’s not YOUR forum and, imo, it is not up to you to define what is ‘sensible’. Indeed, if that was the criteria I believe many of your own posts might have been deleted, not least the ridiculous response about the ‘clergy’ last week.
As I’ve said before…threads thrive, or otherwise, according to the amount of interest (responses) they generate. If people are interested they respond, if they’re not…they don’t.
Simple as that and it doesn’t, again imo, need the moderator to start banning topics or individual words unless they are offensive or libellous…that’s a very dangerous road to go down.

The post was about 2 tier policing, not muslims.
I think the way that woman was treated was outrageous and it is backed up by them having to pay her 10k in compo. This is the second time they have had to do so. She has been stabbed on speakers corner and no action taken.

The country is about free speech and none more than on speakers corner, where the gloves are off within the law.

The government has/is allowing this and in fact has fuelled it very recently with Stamers clamp down on naughty words on Twitter etc
