I was thinking about the tallest building in the lez zone.....and it's probably DCT, city churches or the cathedral. which are all hardly the empire state.....most streets are no more than 4 storeys and I've never heard anyone saying Dundees no windy enough, any towns by rivers are usually windy.

Wasn't challenged no. She was standing being interviewed on Seagate and I remembered the wind funneling down there so strongly it's been difficult to walk - but it's never windy in Dundee by the Tay Estuary.

Last week there was an article in the Scotsman newspaper which highlighted that Maggie Chapman the Scottish Green MSP stated that the new roads being built in Scotland were the preserve of the Elite and mostly White Men.
In my opinion this shows that the Greens MSPs in Scotland are ‘out of control’ and Maggie Chapman should be reported to the Race Relations Board.

There would never have been a problem with fumes from vehicles in the Seagate if the Dundee City Councillors had left the Seagate as one way. However that involves common sense which is sadly lacking amongst the Dundee City Councillors.
The busiest roads in Dundee namely East Marketgait and Lochee Road are not even situated in the LEZ zone because the civil servants who drew up the LEZ zone in Dundee only selected streets within the inner ring road instead of doing their homework.
The dozy Dundee City Councillors gave Marks and Spencers planning permission to move from the Seagate to the Gallagher Retail Park which has resulted in traffic chaos and greatly increased emissions because unlike the previous Marks and Spencer store in the Seagate the Gallagher Retail Park is poorly served by the Xplore Dundee bus services.
My wife who used to get the Xplore Dundee bus to the Seagate cannot drive.
I now have to give her lift to the new Marks and Spencer store in the Gallagher Retail Park, drive home and wait for her phone call to collect her after she has finished her shopping.
The SNP ministers keep banging on about people stopping using their cars and using public transport but this policy does not appear to have reached the controlling group of SNP councillors in the City Chambers in the City Square.

This is nothing new as far as Labour MPs are concerned.
In April 1986 the wife of George Robertson the Labour MP for Hamilton phoned Bowmore Distillery on Islay and asked the management if they would put on a dinner in their distillery to celebrate her husband’s 40th birthday.
The Bowmore distillery management agreed and put on the dinner.
George Robertson was born on Islay and he was a ‘local boy made good’.
It would be interesting to know if George Robertson declared this free dinner for his 40th birthday paid by Bowmore Distillery to the House of Commons.
I received this information over 15 years ago from a Bowmore distillery worker who I used to play golf with at Machrie golf course on Islay.

My wife who used to get the Xplore Dundee bus to the Seagate cannot drive.
I now have to give her lift to the new Marks and Spencer store in the Gallagher Retail Park, drive home and wait for her phone call to collect her after she has finished her shopping.

You don't 'HAVE TO' give your poor, long suffering wife a lift to Gallagher Retail Park, that's what's called a choice i.e. you choose to give the poor woman a lift because the truth is that there are bus stops nearby.

There are two bus stop within a five minute walk of Gallacher retail park, one at Wishart Centre and one on Seagate across from the bus station.

If I was her I'd choose to get away from you by taking a bus to the Wishart Centre stop, or alternatively if her bus doesn't go that way a bus into town and a 5 or 5A back down Seagate to the bus station, then walking the short distance to M&S. The short respite from you would be bliss since I can only imagine the drive from your house to, well anywhere, with you would verge on being a total nightmare.

You'd then be able to say you're doing your bit for the environment and to reduce the supposedly high levels of pollution in Dundee City Centre by halving the number of trips you make to and from M&S. The SNP will love you.

Why would M&S apply for planning permission for a building that's already there ,change of use maybe, but was originally a sports shop , so they could hardly say it was unsuitable to be come a shop once more

Unfortunately the current generation of British people are paying a high price thanks to the tinpot ideas by ‘tree hugging’ senior civil servants at both Westminster and Holyrood.
We would have much cheaper electricity in the U.K. if we had continued building nuclear power stations which happened in France but the bampot SNP controlled Scottish Government have stated that no new nuclear power stations will be built in Scotland.
As far as I am aware energy policy and the building of new power stations in Scotland has not been devolved to the Scottish Government at Holyrood.

The snp can't build a ferry and you want them to build a nuclear power plant🤣🤣😅
