Not that I am sympathising with the Skittery Farts, but it seems a bit odd that they had to go all the way to Azerbaijan to play a closed-doors game against a team from Belarus. Could they not have played halfway between the two countries, like in Germany or Switzerland?

To answer my own question, maybe Baku was the closest available eligible stadium for a UEFA competition.
