So, having read that paragraph very carefully, and checked back a number of weeks to other posts, its factually incorrect so I'm not responding. One of the complaints made by more than one poster is that some of us 'won't let things go' and this conversation is heading in that direction so I'm not carrying on any further to and fro on this line of disussion either.

How utterly bizarre, one can be moderated because some of us "won't let things go", I mean why should anybody let untruths, misinterpretations and outright lies "GO", thats a play book of the current group of right wing populous politicians and **** stirrers, keep saying crap until people get tired of rebutting it and it becomes almost a half truth.

There is a simple answer to those who are offended by a long drawn out argument, don't ****ing read it!! Same with posts that are OT, nobody is obliged or required to read threads or posts they don't like. I have completely avoided the green energy thread, mainly because it was so full of untruths, misunderstandings and total cobblers, its the same reason that by and large I don't read or respond to posts by our "Red Friend".

As rA says quite sensibly, threads will die a death if people don't like them because there will be no posts.

I can se the "poer" has gone to your head, oh well I guess it fills in your time and gives you a sense of purpose.

Love to, GP…but the standard and style of moderation on here has changed in recent weeks and not for the better. There’s a problem which needs resolving and it won’t be via the moderator’s repeated obduracy and reluctance to concede that he could, just possibly, have got things very wrong.

I'm fairly sure that it gives our Mod the ability to delete any post of mine that features the word "Gammon", having been shown to be completely wrong when he said it was "hate speech" has now found a way to cancel me if he so chooses.

Gammon is not one of the words you’ve used that have caused deletion, we’ve had that discussion and our views differ, repeated use of it just make you look silly
