It is not easy to love a culture that will take out a Christian village in northern Lebanon and kill 21 civilians without warning. Your mates in the IDF did that yesterday.

Civilians being killed in a war zone is not a cultural event, it happens in all wars and involves all cultures. It is not particular to Judaism, except for those who choose to make it so.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday vowed to hit Hezbollah without mercy, a day after the Iran-backed Lebanese group’s deadliest strike on Israel since the start of the war in late September.

Hezbollah’s drone attack on an Israeli base killed four soldiers on Sunday, while volunteer rescuers said another 60 people were injured.

“We will continue to mercilessly strike Hezbollah in all parts of Lebanon –- including Beirut,” Netanyahu said on a visit to the base near Binyamina, south of Haifa.

I saw some maps which the IDF had acquired showing the extent of Hezbollah's planned incursion into northern Israel, one of them showed they intended to penetrate as far south as Acre. I would think Balan, this might put you at some risk of being dragged off for a spot of cave dwelling in deepest Lebanon.
