    Bring it on, 😃
I've heard and like quite a bit from Robert Kennedy Jr and Tulsey Gabbert who are in team Trump.
Harris is a cloan of Sleepy joe and just terrible in so many ways 😴

Robert Kennedy Jr is an extreme right-wing, conspiricy theorist, racist and rabid anti-vaccination activist who believes there is a dead parasitic worm in his brain.

He believes COVID was "engineered" by Jews to attack certain ethnic groups.

Last year he declared "UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES" would he join Trump.

He believes anti-depression medication causes school shootings as there were none before PROZAC.

According to his paranoid conspiracy theorists friends, chemtrails look like contrails but they are intentionally created by unknown people to poison us with unknown chemicals for some unknown reason.

Any evidence against his wild views on anything he endorses are "crazy statistical gimmicks".

And to top it all, he is a favourite of Tucker Carlson.

The state of US politics when you have a vile nut job favourite to become the president of the world's most powerful nation. He is a convicted fellon and makes up stories that are laughable. If they elect him again they deserve everything they get.

It won't just be them though will it, Putin will be allowed to roll over Ukraine and God knows what the Israelis will be allowed to do. You know the old saying 'when America sneezes, the World catches a cold'.

Tulsi Gabbard, good effort though points deducted for not looking it up

Trump has surrounded himself with some decent people to be fair, some of whom are former Democrats - which tells you everything you need to know about the direction the Dems are going in.

It's a shame that someone else isn't the Republican candidate though. People like Vivek Ramaswamy and RFK Junior are clearly more dialled in and less controversial than Trump. Vivek is about as impressive a candidate as you could have as far as I'm concerned. Trump, on the other hand, is so divisive that some people will vote for Harris simply because she's Trump's opposition.

If Trump wins, I'm interested to see if he follows through on his idea to have Elon Musk audit the entire public sector. I'm convinced that with the right processes in place and the sort of dynamism and performance standards you see in the private sector, you could halve the state and enjoy a more efficient and fair system.

Let's face it what a choice? I thought our politicians are bad but if these two are the best America can come up with God help them.

Agreed, the two candidates are both awful in different ways. You have to pick your poison.

That said, I quite like some of the people that Trump has assembled behind him. Vivek Ramaswamy is on a completely different level to most politicians and has that private-sector zeal that's needed to make real change. He looks like a future president in waiting to me. RFK Junior may have some controversial views, but he seems genuinely motivated to tackle the issues contributing to poor health in the US. And I know they are not everyone's cup of tea, but I'd genuinely be interested to see what a combination of Elon Musk and Ron Paul could achieve by auditing the public sector, cutting the fat, and driving real efficiency. JD Vance is also a more competent VP than Walz as far as I'm concerned.

Can you tell me the last election in any free country where either leader/candidate has been generally accepted as being a good choice?

Or tell me the last US election when one of the candidates has been a good pick for everybody. It's generally the media who picks the leaders and tells you how they would be for you.

Nope. There are often people behind them who seem competent, but I can't remember the last time a leadership race was fought between two outstanding candidates.
