    Rothwell and Tanaka

Brilliant again. Individually and has a pair. Against 2 good teams.
If all 4 midfielders were fit who would you start with ?
At least we have good options with or without injuries.

Last few games Rothwell has really shown what he can do. Tanaka looks very comfortable and composed with the ball and even under pressure rarely looks hurried. He could be very very good for us.

Yes, I already know that individually they each have a pair.

    They were very very good

We might want to lay off getting another center mid

Tanaka and Rothwell have been more effective [so far] than Ampadu and Gruev because they move with the ball as soon as they get it.Tanaka moves well and is much quicker than the others and uses less touches to control the ball and moves with it always under control but obviously has a frame that is not so great defensively in my eyes.Overall we flow better now with the current duo so don't get slowed down like previously but Piroe as a 10 needs to move around more to make the unit as a whole really consistently to click and to be fair he showed signs of that last night, so Farkes obviously working on all of those individual points as we look far more composed as a team currently. With Aaronsson and even James our running of the ball can often end up to frantic more often than not particularly with Firpo alongside, though Firpo is looking better with Tanaka and Rothwell in the team also right now.
Looking composed as a team is a stand out plus for me right now and as Totty has mentioned you can see Farkes remit now really surfacing regarding the tempo and composure balance he's wanting.

Tanaka is a revelation and be the seasons big find hopefully. Very rarely looses the ball and can pass a great ball. Strong physically and just one of those players who we and the players in the team can trust to do a great job.

Rothwell was tireless, best game yet and the two of them form a solid partnership

They do work well together. Good to have options.

If fit there should not be options these 2 must start. I know Ampoadudadada gets rave reviews he was much better as a CB than a mid. Please can anyone name one game where he has created goals? Grueev is another plodder getting heaps of praise that has done nothing for me.
Real problems will be upfront who does he start not all can fit in! For me Rama is better than the one that left and James has to start. Gnonto also and what about Solomon he looks class above this grade. So Aaronson even though he is playing ok is the one to make way. Defensively is our real trouble and apart from Byram and Wober which Mr Farke doesn't like and won't play we are looking better as a team.

Good to have options, especially if one is having an off game.
