    Joshua Guilavogui

    Why?

Well ......... this French player was invited to attend Leeds last two games at ER with his advisors and he was happily stopping for pictures with supporters before and after the games...... Why you ask ?
With Ampadu and Gruev out long term Guila can provide valued cover behind Tanaka and Rothwell....... he had other offers but when Farke okayed his personal interest to signing him then such opportunities players do not want to miss.......... Guila is also able to cover at centre-back if needed........ so important with Rodon 1 game away from suspension and Struijk the only other fit 'senior option'........ right now...... hes been captain of all his clubs ........ so a short term deal with a great club and fantastic supporters whats not to like as the price was right for all parties involved.

Not sure being prepared to visit ER and being photographed is relevant to my question?

He's 34 so no spring chicken, he has never played in any English league (certainly nothing compared to the meat grinder that is the Championship), and as with any "free agent" this late in the course of a season, there will be a reason he is free (just as there was with Kouyate). We have resources at LUFC, we're unfortunate that those responsible for team selection don't have any faith in them.

Squad player , will play when needed , judge after he has played would be my advice otherwise you could end up looking like a right tit!

*See billys 'Farke out' thread for more details on looking like a right tit*

I questioned the wisdom of our interest in Kouyare well before the point at which he failed his medical. I'll stick with my scepticism this time round, I have a reasonable record on such things, and I'll eat humble pie if I'm proved wrong.

apparently under Farke we are a top 3 placement team, which is good.
We always do well from 3rd.

As for Gullivogie, let’s hope he is more Radebe than Roque.
