Somebody told me that the most boring team in the history of all fitba had ventured past the half way line in the game today but I don't believe there was any evidence for that.
PJMs - the most boring, time wasting cynical team ever. I had the misfortune to have to watch hegarty and narey spend years passing back to that Rsehole mcalpine. If only the later day pjms could pass, they would pass it backwards. Quite rightly got no points and they got more than they deserved from the game. Quite how that dross are fourth in the league is bewildering, get back down to where you belong pjms

All these sell outs must be generating a fair bit of extra cash for the club. An extra 5,000 must mean something like £100k? And of course the benefit the team gets from the atmosphere. It’s win-win. Long may it continue.

Can’t wait to visit Pittodrie again and hear a song start up in the Main Stand. Good times.

A nice feeling waking up in a Sunday morning, knowing our team is on top of the league.

I have to admit to fearing the worst when that Sokler header in the second half was kept out brilliantly by their keeper. He saved them a good few times last night.

We didn't do much of note in the first half. Topi was getting the ball and usually ran into trouble or out of pitch. McGrath had a quiet half too with his laser sighted passing not finding their mark and Duk had two United players on him whenever he got the ball.

Then up steps our game changer in the second half. Step forward Shayden Morris and take a bow.

It may have been a 1-0 win, but we destroyed the anti footballers in the second half. We had Ruby and Molloy sitting at the back with Mitov as a sweeper. Shinnie was basically playing at right back, which allowed Devlin to push forward too
Shaydens use of pace and getting balls into the box was causing them all sorts of problems and then Duk got in on the act and was running at them too.
The goal just wouldn't come though and was fearing a smash and grab, by the caravan dwellers, but this team doesn't give up and I said to the guy next to me that the script is written for Ambrose to sneak the goal when he came on. He laughed then, but went feel like the rest of us when it went in.
The loon has had a fair bit of stick since his arrival, but hopefully the goal boosts his confidence. It certainly did ours in the stands.

Fair play to our manager who got it right again with the subs and more importantly for the players coming on and having such a big impact.
Would have been nice for Vinnie to have scored the penalty and give Goodwin a bit of stick. I'm sure he may have anyway at the end.

Giving my MOTM to Shayden Morris, as he was immense in the second half and what a turnaround since that horrible Wednesday night back in February.
    Fair play to the loon.

I don't get excited about the finances, but having big crowds and a team that doesn't lose their bottle in front of them is refreshing.

Watching the fans in the main stand join in is a sight to behold, although I am sure Vintage will have his arms crossed, tutting away in disgust at the noise around him. 😆

    Long may it continue.

Worthy triggering of Fat Boab, Soapy Soutar, Wee Eck, un-PC Murdoch etc over on the barren urban wastelands of The Acme Driveway-Tarring Delusion board.

Kudos to Mason and brochred. Biting is prolific, and of a predictably-low standard.

    Barcelona though….

Not at all. My sonorous baritone was giving it full “allez allez” (not “ole ole” as seems to have become established) from my Sooth Stand eyrie, interspersed with occasional ribald, yet justified, insults directed to Goodwin, the 47 or so Jutes in the cheap seats, and the rain gods.

    Welcome back Jormungand.

Brilliant gag making the goal extra brilliant. Thank you for highlighting.

Magic. Canna mind such a good atmosphere at Pittodrie; although of course we needed to inject a bit of inter-fan aggro by taunting those who decided they couldna hack the rain and left around the hour mark. Great to get the chance to shout sustained abuse at the PJMs and to predict an Ambrose winner (which I do every time he comes aff the bench but still, ken?)

Not any more we're not. We need to start racking up the goals to close the goal difference gap.

Starting on Wednesday with a 10-0 would be good.
