On the topic of Crowley for sure he's one of the best players in league 2 , having said that he's either holding out for a much improved contract or there are other offers on the table possibly from league 1 clubs.
Football to quote (Saint & Greavsie) "is a funny old game" and careers are usually short so players should look out for themselves. It's players agents that initiate a lot of these other contracts which are attractive to other clubs when no transfer fees are involved.
Any notion that because we didn’t miss DC yesterday we won’t miss him in the future does tend to ignore the fact that Harrogate were total sh!t.
They were the poorest team I've seen for some time and against better teams, it would obviously be preferable to have Crowley in the team. The caveat to this is that he's clearly a sensitive character and I have said to my mates that I get the impression that he's getting frustrated at the lack of quality around him, is looking moody and has looked far less effective recently IMO
If he is unhappy and wants to go, clearly it's much better for us to sell him when we'll make a decent profit and not watch him drop his shoulder and leave us with nothing.

I agree certainly no troll & he is lucky enough to attend more matches than most of us can, but more & more his posts are getting very outrageous, is it that he enjoys controversy? enjoys the attention? or just that he believes he has a reputation to live up to? I honestly don't know but I do enjoy most of his posts & they often make me smile, keep it up durham I think you're fun. COYP
Making regular outrageous comments with the primary aims of getting a reaction, being controversial and seeking attention on themselves sounds very much like troll behaviour to me.
The number of games watched plays absolutely no relation to this. Actually you would think that if he has been fortunate enough to see more games under Luke Williams then he would have witnessed more of the 48 wins than most fans and was therefore entertained more often than most fans wouldn’t you? Saying Luke William’s is a one trick pony or only has a Plan A or he had the advantage of a superior squad to all bar a few teams is absolutely fine and valid in my opinion but to ignore or reject the idea that Plan A worked goes totally against his managerial record at Notts.
You can’t take these comments too seriously as ancient pie implies take it as a bit of fun and no more.
A fan base as large as ours is always going to have at least a couple of attention seekers/trolls.
You have contradicted yourself by admitting that LW was a one trick pony and only had a plan A. His plan A was successful in the NL albeit against far inferior opposition, which fair dues to him, both Burchnall and Ardley couldn't achieve However, back in the EFL we were sussed out with teams playing the high press and scoring against at will. LW had no credible plan to counteract this, other than trying to score more than we concede.. And anyone who believed the bullsh*t about it still being a corner 10 minutes after being taken, well say no more... COYP
