Or perhaps, just perhaps, the intricate world of rA supports and actively participates in the bashing of the BlueTories yet deems the same to be inappropriate for the RedTories??

Sigh! Keep trying GP. All I’ve suggested is that if this guy is guilty I’d imagine he faces prison and the end of his political career. I even added, ‘and rightly so’. Until then it is a matter for police investigation, not a case of being declared guilty in the courts of public opinion/the Ram Inn.

While we’re on about Blue Tory and Red Tory ‘bashing’ it might be worth recognising that this particular RedTory has been suspended virtually immediately. I seem to remember things taking rather longer in the not so distant days of BlueTory Govt.

You may well sigh RA, its an utterly pointless thread which reveals AF's true colours, not that myself and no doubt others were in any doubt that he is but a slightly more acceptable version of "Our Red friend" but still its good to see it being proven.

I do wish he who lacks critical thinking ability, would stop parroting this 2 tier nonsense and actually consider the reality. Yes Justice is often inconsistent, it can be influenced by politicians and the prejudices of the Police, prosecutors and judges and even the jury. However, its inconsistent in its application far more to those who are poor, belong to an ethnic minority, are anti protesting against the government (of whatever persuasion) or threatening the establishment, than to those currently being held up as examples. As even a cursory examination of cases will reveal, unless of course one is blinded by the views being pushed by certain public figures and parts of the media.

…AND…Swale enters the fray, like rA opening with a personal attack rather than address the issue

Lol…that’s what I love about you and your moderating, AF…your completely impartial even handedness.

Excitement clearly does have something to do with it, hence your complete confusion about four different cases. Thank God it wasn’t a black MP…you’d probably have been orgasmic by now.

Calm down dear…let the law take it from here.
I have been on a jury know all, twice. The second occasion was voluntary,#
As for the black jibe, thats actually quite offensive, but fits in with a left wing defense mechamism along with nazi/racist/little englander/gammon/ xenophobe/ etc So I shouldn't be surprised

It’s a thoroughly unsavoury incident that there may or may not be more to which now needs police investigation.

You and Tricky seem to have got your respective knickers in a twist over it and it just amused me that you of all people, who is so opposed to contentious political threads on here, should apparently be falling over yourself to post one, complete with link, this morning.

As I said…seems much more of a typical TTR tactic than something you’d usually do, and you can’t have it both ways, but… ‘personal attack’…total tosh.
Where as you would normally take a Guardian stance and ignore/sweep it under the carpet. Yet had it been a Tory MP, you'd have been frothing at the mouth and demanding a public execution. QED

How did I guess you’d be the one to ‘volunteer’? As long as you say ‘if he wasn’t attacked, he’s a dead man walking’ I’d query your fitness for jury service.
Please note…I haven’t ever called you a Nazi/racist/gammon…the other two I’m not so sure of tbh. Could well have at some point. ‘Left wing defense mechamism’…what’s one of those then?

YOU SEE, YOU EXPOSE YOURSELF AGAIN.

After my first jury service, i received a letter asking if I'd like to be on an available list. I said yes, after finding the first 2 week experiance fascinating.
As for your jibe at dead man walking, you obviously don't have a clue about proportional response.
But don't let that stop your predjudice. Like yourself. I too have been through all the back ground checks and family checks to be eligible.
I also own a fire arm license, which means I have many more checks on my suitablity than yourself, where fitness for service is concerned.

If you haven't cottoned on to your left wing defence mechanism yet, I really am not surprised.
