Tonight (Thursday) I said to my wife that there has not been a cheep from Nelmsy about his new stadium development at Campy Nou. He must think that his new stadium will be built by the beginning of August 2025 as he stated in the Dundee Football Club Limited annual accounts for the year ending 31st May 2023 which were published on 8th April 2024 that the club will make similar losses for the next two financial years and then they will improve.
That means that Dundee Football Club Limited will make losses of £2.8 million for the years ending 31st May 2024 and 31st May 2025. Once his new stadium is built and ready for use at the beginning of August 2025 the losses will begin to fall.

The next council planning committee meeting after the meeting on 4th November 2024 is on 9th December 2024.
Last week I had a look at the Dundee City Council website but I could not find anything about the list of planning applications to be decided at the planning committee meeting on Monday 4th November 2024.

So if I'm reading article in courier right, the riverside training complex is to be decided on Nov 4th, the stadium itself won't be.

And according to courier plans for the stadium would then have to be altered......is this correct reading?

And if I remember correctly there's no planning meeting in December so stadium at earliest would be January 25.

7 months to build and get us in.....Nelmsy of Nazareth won't do that 😄

I enclose details of the planning committee meeting on Monday 4th November 2024 from the Dundee City Council website. https://www.dundeecity.gov.uk/report...s/pl041124.pdf
The new Dundee FC Community Trust site at Riverside has been recommended for approval with conditions despite it not being totally part of the local development plan.
If this planning application is passed I not would be surprised to see Dundee Football Club move ‘lock, stock and barrel’ from their current site at Gardyne to the new site at Riverside despite the Community Trust being totally separate from Dundee Football Club to allow them to maintain their charitable status.
The next Dundee City Council planning committee meeting is due to take place on Monday 9th December 2024.

I agree that there will never be a stadium at Camperdown.
However it suits Nelms to periodically roll out his latest new stadium computer aided design to keep him in the public eye.

And to keep him popular with the gullible fans who still think we'll be playing there this time next year.

Can't wait until reality hits those fans and the real story comes out.
