    Very true Doggy.

To be fair Doggy , I have been reading on various sites where Jalo and other academy lads who played last night are not up to it and the academy is a waste of time , they may be right ,but I was an apprentice and half way through my apprenticeship I could carry out quite a lot of my work but I wasn"t the finished article by any means and did not get fully on top of my job until after I had completed my training and had started to gain experience , why do fans not see that young footballers learning their trade are no different ? , we had Chris Woods , Ivan Toney plus others on loan here and were no where near to fulfilling their ability but they turned out to be top top players , it is obvious that the majority of the crop will not succeed but history suggests that it has always been this way but only time will tell , let them develop and learn their trade before judging and from some of the comments I have read these youngsters must be distraught when they see what our fans think of them , I really think patience is the key but there seems to be very little of that amongst our fan base .

And a good number of those, 100 ?, were on "paid for by the company" freebies, as it looked like all the corporate boxes were full and the Legends Suite was open. The match would be largely irrelevant to a lot of those ladies and gentlemen quaffing drinkies and stuffing down food to amuse the palette.

Was a poor game but expected that really.

Not sure any of the players that have been involved in the first team this season laid down a marker for getting the shirt back.

Yoganathan was probably our best player.

Silver lining is that we are now done with that cup for another year.

It didn't matter anyway because it was a meaningless match, in a pathetic and pointless competition.
I wish we had the option to avoid it to be honest. 👎

Maybe we could play an ineligible player in the first round of matches next year……….. just a thought.

I thought Bland played well which was quite apt. Looked well up until final third. Shame Marsh isn't a yard quicker because he's got the skill and the heart. Just isn't a striker or midfielder.
