Bramhall also run the fullback ragged but as usual his crosses were poor.
As mellow said. Holmes did ok in patches but didn't find much success going down the line.
Hugill, tithe, odoffin and Rafferty were very poor.
    Jules started well then faded..
Biggest disappointment this season is Humphreys. He should look classy in this league and he's not even reaching the YAK average level. Poor again leading to their first goal.
Don't get me started on Dawson ☹️

I've said it a zillion times this season. Tithe and oddofin shouldn't be in the same team.

For the first time in about 20 years we have to very average second choice keepers.

Dawson flaps and is inconsistent as hell. I understand why Wednesday fans were mixed at best on him. Two calamities for every good thing done. Philips is a cup only keeper.

Backline has the talent in it that won promotion last year and has seemingly decided to collectively go on strike. To a man they've all been poor. OK going forward but that's it.

The midfield is the worst I've seen in any miller's side since the collapse in league one when we left the new York. Maybe worse. It's horrendous.

    Up front.

Has beens, wages stealers and big mouths. Every single one should be gone, save for Nombe who is the only player I think has given 100% this year. JCH was talking about the golden boot. He will be fortunate to still be wearing boots come the end of the season he just looks crocked.

All that energy, enthusiasm, assertiveness and confidence from the end of last year to now has gone. Completely.

It's become very, very obvious the players want Evans gone. Players he has signed.

Will they get it, or will TS sack him.

I know what I would do.

I've been to every home game this season and have found it virtually impossible to work out the shape or determine the game plan and on most occasions things only got better when substitutions were made which suggests the management team rarely get things right from the start.
It's not really surprising if the players aren't really listening.
    Agreed.

Huge players! all he's done it's replace one lot of sicknotes for another. I'd forget about Raggett & Kelly. Let's see what McGuckin can do starting not coming off the bench not when games in it's last throws. Wilkes I'm not his biggest fan but he's got to play on the right. Move Odoffin to central defence. 4-3-3 at Barnsley

    Phillips

    Rafferty Odoffin Jules Bramall

    McGuckin Teihi Powell

    Wilkes Hugill Nombe

Raynor acts like magnus pike with his hand savings. like other posts have said if the team arnt listening then Evans has lost the dressing room and or players confidence in his tactics which to tbh are piss poor

The truest quote in this thread is that sacking Evans will make no difference.

As also mentioned, word has clearly got around about Tony and his manner so nobody is going to touch us until that shower have moved on.

So, I’m still backing Evans. He’s our only hope and I don’t understand why people are questioning him. It was only last year he got Stevenage on the verge of the playoffs. His record isn’t in question - Stewart’s is.

If Evans is the right man to be manager and he was appointed by Tony S why is our poor performance his fault.
Evans was given the money to spend as he saw fit. Every manager knows the amount of money available and Evans accepted the job with that information.

How is our current poor performance Tony’s fault?

I really thought we would eventually win until their third goal, then the stuffing was knocked out of them.
Cheltenham were ok but nothing special. Well organised big units that were allowed by shocking officials to pull and grab at will. But they created three chances, which was one more than we did.
Their fans turned it into a home match as the only noise coming from our end was booing. Under 3,000 present sadly. Does the town deserve a team in the second round?

I've been flicking through the attendances from yesterday's cup ties and the one at the NYS looks incredibly low in comparison to all the other ties. If you compare it to what would be expected at a normal league game then we are a total outlier. It may be a sign of the mood of the club at the moment.
