I want to leave
How do I delete froggy's account?
Without wanting to sound patronising, that wasn't Rich's point at all.
In fact, it's bizarre how many people have answered a completely different question to the one asked.
He didn't ask how he could stop posting, he asked he could delete his account (and, presumably, all his historical posts).
Under GDPR law we have a right to control our data, and to request its deletion. It is a legitimate question and request.
I believe GDPR gives rights to view and access certain data, but deletion is more specifically around personal data rather than posts. My understanding is that GDPR is not focused on your 'output' or 'content' (which many sites claim the right to in their sign-up terms, as do employers) but more about how anything of a personal nature is stored, used, shared etc.
