Still undefeated in the league and still 9 fcukin points ahead of the huns, and sh1t loads ahead of their Edinburgh cousins
Our next winning run starts on Saturday against Dundee.

The big learning I hope we take out of the game, is that with two holding midfielders probably only a year or two from retirement they simply don't have the legs to play two high intensity games where high pressing is required in less than 72 hours, same probably goes for Nicky Devlin as he barely crossed the halfway line yesterday (we know how good he is when he gets forward into the box). I'm not saying it would have changed the outcome but in the future we need to trust Palaversa to start in some of these games. Devlin is more of an issue as there is no obvious alternative to him with all due respect to Milne. The lack of legs yesterday meant celtic had oodles of space in the middle of the park and Maeda was able to do as he pleased on the left wing plus when we had possession at the back we didn't have the legs to create the space to make passes through the lines into midfield that we have been so good at so far this season

We will have at least six more weeks this season where we play midweek games (plus any more for winter postponements) plus hopefully loads more next season with European games so plenty to do in the January transfer window to continue to build a squad with more depth in some of these positions to give us every chance of pipping sevco for second. (I know we have Palvera to come back but still not 100% sure he will be an adequate replacement for Shinnie/Nielson).

While I agree legs were part of it, I think tactically we gave Shinnie and Nilsen too much grass to cover. We needed an extra body in the middle or at the very least the wingers to tuck in more and track back. The point stands that we need more depth, albeit when Polvara returns he’ll be doing that.

Just watched the highlights’ on RedTV, which was tough, but brought out that we made too many mistakes and they got the break of the ball quite a bit too. So less down to their brilliance than it maybe seemed at the time.

In hindsight Thelin should have made some changes from Wednesday night, the effort that was put in against the Huns made a lot of our players tired and unable to play at the level required against the Tims.

They were clearly spooked by our performance at Parkhead a few weeks ago as they rested some of their players against Dundee on Wednesday.

I do find it annoying that every time we have a decent side Hollywood teeth’s team play out of their skin against us.Hopefully we learn our lesson and Thelin finds a way to beat them next month at Pittodrie.

I’m glad Thelin & Shinnie didn’t use the 2 games in a week / tiredness excuse - even though it absolutely was clearly a factor.

Clement just looked like a complete loser with his post match comments on Wednesday that were along those lines.

Bottom line is Timothy are light years ahead of everyone in Scotland - cheers UEFA, your shytey Champions league has utterly ruined any potential semblance of competition in the smaller leagues - not that you give a fück.

They were well up for it yesterday (not for the first time) & wanted to make a point. Fair play, they did, but by fück we helped them along the way.

The improvement has been significant & remarkable this year, but the deficiencies in the squad were clearly exposed yesterday. Painful at the time but maybe no bad thing in the long run.

We want to be playing 2 games a week - it shows we’re being successful - but to do so we’re gonna have to up the size & quality of the squad a lot. The cash we’ve bought in via transfers & the increased gates etc on the back of the recent good run will help here so got to trust that jimmy will spend it well.

I do, & I think we’ll be seeing a few more Nilssen Scandi types coming in over the next couple of windows…

Plenty chat from tims that their performance in champs league last night was best they've ever seen. Pretty interesting in light of the last game.

We had a similar one recently, think it was around 2016? The season they had Virgil van Dijk before abody found out he was one of the world's best defenders. We were very close to them but those head-to-head games killed our chances of winning the league.

It's a tough pill to swallow but I hope the boys aren't too down, and I do trust Jimmy is making sure they keep the heids.

Leipzig are doing well in the Bundesleiga, granted, but they are winless after four games in the Champions League sharing bottom spot with a number of other teams.

As much as I like Nilssen, he sometimes gets caught out for pace against the quicker teams and he has lost possession in deep defensive positions on occasion with some wayward passing. On the whole though, I think that he’s been a great signing.

Red Bull seemingly doesn't "give you wings", given that all three RB teams are down in the nether reaches with a Eurovision-tastic "nul points".
