Celtic v Aberdeen (League Cup Semi Final)

Another Saturday evening game for the Dons as they head back to Glasgow for another go at Celtic. The game is at 5:30pm Scotland time.

I fancy us to win 1-0. It won't be easy, though.

The JT and Swaddon2 train just keeps steam-rolling along.
This one is going to be a different one all together.
Got a gut feeling this is going all the way and we will sneak it on penalties, but ffs after last night dinna let McGrath take one
We get through on penalties and find out on Sunday that we will face the steelmen of Motherwell in the final.
Carlsberg don't normally do weekends, but if they did ..............................................

We play the green filth and it's a doing for us before we take ti the pitch, but we are a different team now.

It's as good a chance to get to the final as any and we really shouldn't fear that Rangers team. If they were to beat Motherwell that is. The Hun are very beatable.

Going to be a battle on Saturday and a few players will be tired after giving their all last night.

I would start the same team as last night, with possibly Shayden in for Topi.

COYR! Win, lose or draw, it’s great to be confident we’ll turn up.

Would agree with that, and for me I think Nisbet is a better centre forward than Sokler.
If Nisbet is fit I would start with him instead of Sokler

    Never!

A better finisher with Nisbet, but Sokler leads the line well and brings others into play. He does a lot of off the ball running too.

Have a pop at him for the chances he misses, but a better player for our current system than Nisbet..

I’d stick with Sokler too, especially in the bigger games. Puts in a great shift plus he looks a bit like Miovski

Keep Nisbet for destroying pish like Dundee Utd & Hearts etc

what I meant to say that for me Nisbet is a better goal scorer than Sokler, and for this up and coming game against timothy we might not get many clear goal scoring chances but if and when we do they and the fall to Nisbet I would have more confidence of him putting one away than Sokler.
Agree Sokler leads the line well and is probably a better footballer than Nisbet, but for me we need a "poacher" and Nisbet will find himself in the right place at the right time.

But thank fcuk Jimmy knows more about this than I do.

What injury is Nisbet struggling with anyway, not on the bench again last night so I guess highly unlikely he will be thrown into the starting 11 on Saturday.
He might be one of of Jimmy's impact subs this time round.

Celtic rested quite a few last night and we put in a hard shift so I do worry we will be running on empty in last 20 minutes. JT as always will need to use his subs wisely but I would start with our strongest possible team

Going down by car. Been heaps of times but where does everyone recommend to park? Also, what time are you leaving at? I thought 12noon would be OK?
