Lol…long way to go. I just thought he played well.
Mark Robins sacked after last night’s defeat. Ridiculous imo…don’t understand it at all.

I thought it funny, but then RA I looked at Cov fans comments on line and they were moaning about their team passing backwards and sideways, not creating chances and not battling like Derby did! Indeed remarkably similar to what Rams fans were saying about the Stoke match!! Just looking at the match stats I had the impression that Cov were on top but of course possession stats only tell half the picture and some football luminary did once comment "Its OK having possession, its what you do with it that counts!"

Robins has been at Cov 7 years and I think was supported transfer wise last summer and the realistic expectation was a promotion challenge, however they are mid table with inconsistent results - like many teams in the championship at the moment and indeed quite a few that have spent some money.

Which again is why Rams fans should consider Derby in context, they are right in the middle of a very tight league table, amongst teams that have been settled in the championship or indeed have tasted promotion in recent years. But it also shows that even with more money to spend on players, it does not always translate into better performance or meet some fans unrealistic expectations.

Think they spent about £15m over the summer…so rather more than us, but when you think what Robins has achieved it still seems more than harsh.
Apparently they want Matt Bloomfield from Wycombe. He’s seems to be doing very well, but he’s one of those who’s spent almost his whole 20 odd year career at one club. Sometimes you get these ‘perfect fits’ that can’t hack it anywhere else…hope so.
