Farage certainly had a voice in the European Assembly , upsetting his counterparts on numerous occasions but rarely reported by the MSM.

Kinnock, meanwhile, in his role as Commissioner was largely silent and did little of note to benefit the UK ?
Largely silent, as he was during the Miners' strike.
So much for representing the Working classes !

With the decline of Methodist chapels in Wales, it appears that there is no longer any fire in the bellies of Welsh activists and politicians, to fight for traditional " Labour " values.
The disgraceful whooping and cheering, in the Welsh Assembly ,when the vote to cut WFA payments was carried in the HOC, speaks volumes.
The WA member for RCT being particularly unpopular.

Bullsh!t, just open your eyes for once and face facts:

Exclusive analysis of the MEP voting records places Farage 745th out of 746 MEPs on the register - with only Brian Crowley, a MEP in Ireland who has NEVER voted, below him.

What Kinnock did or didn't do has no relevance at all to Farage.

Yes, Farage occasionally turned up and spoke, deliberately being offensive to people who were pro-EC. He made no attempt to contribute positively, not even to make a case for doing things differently.

The Allied forces including, American , Russian and Commonwealth troops freed Europe from tyranny and rebuilt their industries to the detriment of our own.
    So much for gratitude ,
( especially as Gordon Brown, is reported to have cancelled the war time debts which France owed to the UK)
A similar amount to the repayments made by the UK to the USA for lend lease agreements ?
The Russian's were quite happy to tag team with the nazis to carve up Poland.
SAS pows shot in cold blood by Ukrainian SS in France 44
    They deserve each.

I beg your pardon and forgive your rude and offensive post.

I can understand the sadness of all those lefties suffering from anger , shock and depression after the USA results.
Never mind , no doubt you've taken it better than all the luvvies like Vorderman , James O 'Brien , etc , etc ,not to mention Alaistair Campbell, David Lammy etc.
    ....
Enjoy your evening and have a pleasant weekend.

I take your point and accept what you say.
However , it's relevant that without the Russian' s impacting the war , an allied victory would have taken longer to achieve, if at all.
My late father , bless him, spent 6 years plus in the Royal Navy, surviving his ships being sunk twice .
He was " honoured " to have served on The Russian Convoys , sailing into Archangel and Murmansk to help supply the war effort.
Much of the time, sailors were deployed de-icing their vessel to prevent capsizing.

This one never fails to make me smile.

'We're leaving the EU because we want to make it significantly more difficult to live there. Anyone who doesn't like it can go and live there'

    LOL.

Farage wasn't interested in the minutiae of EU policy or politics, he was just a thorn in their side. His address which finished with 'well you're not laughing now are you' after the Brexit vote, always makes me smile.

Tommy Cooper did it better: "They all laughed when I said I wanted to be a comedian. Well, they're not laughing now."

He was right, after Brexit became a reality we certainly weren't laughing.
