    Great stuff, cheers lads, I think Gordon Mair's goal still betters this IMHO.

    Gordon Mair's goal is pretty much the greatest Notts goal ever, so that Jatta's is even compared to it is a huge compliment to our current team.

    It was a great goal, and should have been the goal of the season. I believe that was given Aston Villa..

    As well as the classic Mair goal, we did score from an 11 pass move live on TV under Mick Walker, v Oxford 28th November 1993, starting with Cherry's long clearance, came back into defence and then going forward it was mostly created down the middle of the pitch with a low chipped through ball by Lund for Agana of all people to finish on the half-volley, a very rare goal for him.

    Other than our fans (and the Doncaster supporters who were there), few will get to see it in context sadly, but then you'd have to wonder how many goals are scored in a similar fashion these days outside the PL that only get shown as an edit of the last few passes on TV.
