It was only when I read Scotland On Sunday’s match report that I realised that Maroons’ co-skipper Ryan Robertson’s brother Clark was playing in TMSTID’s back four last night.

We seem to have developed the smeddum to kill teams off by concerted pressure and the deflating ability to score goals in quick succession.

Not much to add to what others have said. First half we were extremely lucky and Mitov really rode to the rescue. 2nd we were just so much better.

Sokler worked his socks off but didn’t really get a sniff. I thought Clarkson was a bit meh, but then watching the highlights he played some really clever balls. He seems to have to do quite a lot of pressing work, which maybe means he’s less able to dominate?

Duk starting to look like his old self but I think both he and Keskinen need to improve their decision making around the box. Do that and they’ll be amazing.

Great to be waking up top of the league and scoring 4. Withdrawal symptoms loom.

Apparently rejected us twice in the not to distant past to come back!

I hadn't realised he was playing for Dundee last night.

Nisbet looked like a man on a mission to score when he came on. He loves creating a yard of space to get a shot in.
Be good to see them play together, but Jimmy doesn't play that way.

As I said last night McGrath was sitting in front of us in the Richard Donald stand.

It looked like he had stitches above his eye but the commentator on Sportscene said he had a minor operation through the week.

He also said Nilsen was ill.

Yes McGrath had a minor facial op as a result of his head clash with Ross County a few weeks back. We opted to get it done now so he would only miss one game. Nilsen phoned in sick yesterday.

Agree with general consensus re Saturdays game. Brilliant turnaround and it’s great having subs that can actually influence a game.
Like others be interested to see what Vinnie and Morris could do starting.
Almost feel they ‘deserve’ a start.

Not sure I like both Duk and Keskinen starting. Both a bag of tricks but bit luxury having both IMO.

Hope Jimmy has some more nuggets up his sleeve as it’s not quite working at the top end of the pitch.

He looked very sharp on Saturday and that ball for the Vinny goal would have been on a Sky Sports loop if done in the EPL.

They seem a very contented group of players at the moment, which is great to see and makes it easier for us when trying to keep them at the club.

That’s a fair point re Nisbet DD. I’ve maybe unconsciously taken on rumblings elsewhere of him being a bit of a troublemaker.

I’ve also just taken it for granted he’s temporary as assumed his wages would be beyond us.

See Joe Lewis made the point last week about clubs not offering local loons the same as imported talent. I hope that doesn’t apply to Jack…

So aye I hope a happy camp works for us re both Mackenzie and McGrath.

If it's a choice? Ah'd keep McKenzie. When McGrath shines, it's bright ... but, dare Ah say? ... some games, it's a 'flash in the pan'. McKenzie on the other hand - aye, there's flaws, but overall, week on week, solid performances, not the best defender, but his attacking wide play, and quailty of cross balls, for me, our best winger.
