RIYADH -Saudi Arabia's crown prince and de facto ruler condemned what he called the "genocide" committed by Israel against Palestinians when he spoke at a summit of Muslim and Arab leaders on Monday.

"The Kingdom renews its condemnation and categorical rejection of the genocide committed by Israel against the brotherly Palestinian people," Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said at an Arab Islamic summit, echoing comments by Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud late last month."

The Arab Summit statement "lashed out at what was described as "the horrific and shocking crimes committed by the Israeli occupation army in the Gaza Strip in the context of the crime of genocide, including mass graves, torture and field executions."

Participants renewed their call for the establishment of a Palestinian state. "The only path to sustainable peace in the region is the two-state solution," said Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan.

He added that the inability to stop the aggression against Gaza is "a failure for the international community."

Verified social media videos show Maccabi fans setting off flares and fireworks, chanting in Hebrew “olé, olé, let the IDF [Israel Defense Forces] win, we will **** the Arabs”, and declaring that there were “no children” left in Gaza.

News update: Ten residents of Israel were among those arrested, the report said, in the first public acknowledgment that Maccabi supporters may have broken the law.

The report shows that police were concerned about “fanatic” supporters of Maccabi Tel Aviv a day before Thursday’s game, and confirmed police reports that Maccabi hooligans, some in face coverings, pulled down a Palestinian flag, shouted slogans and attacked a taxi with their belts. The police later saw “online calls that appeared for taxi drivers to mobilise” against the Maccabi fans.
