I know everyone isn't a footballer smart arse . My point being playing football is their job, they get holidays like everyone else ,they don't need one just because the national team are playing. By the way I don't get a holiday at Christmas

It is, and I'm not suggesting they're wrong to do this, only that it's a non-story if you weigh up what's being said. If anything, it's good to see the club have recognised how fans feel and have at least churned out a few lines to show they're aware.

So 'arse' gets through the filter, along with 'piss'.... yet the word to describe someone aged 13-19 doesn't. Weirdest piss-arse filter I've ever seen.

What's going to change to what they've done or going to do days not off? with same coaching staff? Some will do it different to keep it feeling less repetitive to others for the players.

Training - and extra training with a specific focus - is a good thing.

Training as a form of punishment - especially when the manager is playing to the gallery of the fanbase with the way he positions it publicly - isn't.

Utter nonsense. Just another pop at the regime. Things aren?t working at the moment that obvious but this is just a case of prejudiced thinking.

Reading the Advertiser over the last few weeks, the sports section has just become a platform for Evans to tell us how wonderful he is.

But dont forget he got us up 12 years ago so he?s bound to do it again (which leaves me wondering why king Ronnies second spell wasn?t a roaring success if history repeats itself)
And dont forget the barnsley game would have had a different complexion if Holmes had took that chance (which leaves me wondering what if Barnsley had taken their half a dozen chances)
And dont forget we?d be great if we had JCH and Wilkes in the team (which leaves me wondering why we were dismal to watch when we had JCH and Wilkes in the team)
And dont forget about the previous regimes. And did i mention the injuries.

Before we start mud slinging again , maybe the chairman told SE to cancel these unofficial days off . The man who pays thousands of pounds each month towards these pampered footballers wages .
