I think his actions were immoral for a few reasons, the worst parts being lying about it and hanging her out to dry.

And, I think parallels drawn between Clinton's behaviour and Trumps are:

a) Laughable, and
b) Not relevant
Do you consider the Kennedy brothers sharing Marilyn Monroe like a bag of chips, to be on your list of unbalanced comparisons ?

As she didn't survive to complain too much , at least the recriminations were more muted.
