This is where the voyage, story and our history with Evans began!
The first time round we poached, pinched or bought out his contract to the dismay of many Millers fans! At that time he was a horrible manager that enjoyed getting under the skin of other managers. You could say that many matches were won off the pitch because of it.

It was a different type of manager that TS got to the norm and one that worked. Although there were different rules in place for emergency loan Evans used it to his advantage. The amount of players coming in and out was amazing but it worked.

I suppose that I?m hoping for some sort of catalyst to get our season going.

Exactly the same here. Can’t see where any goals will come from. Players who we’ve relied on in the past need to start playing for the manager whether they like him or not. Otherwise I fear another defeat.

An important game for us and for Evan’s as manager. If we win it then it will do everyone the world of good and allow us all to hope we can get on a little run. Defeat and we are in a relegation battle as Crawley will only be 1 point behind us, two clubs below us with a game in hand and over a third of the season gone. A draw isn’t really useful but at least it isn’t another defeat of the road and it is better than losing. The performance is important also we have to look like we are capable in L1 and that hasn’t been the case often this season. I have a feeling we will get a win and start to turn things around, but that is mostly my heart not my head.
