I see that Special Council, Jack Smith, has dropped all charges against Donald Trump with regards to 6th January. What a waste of time and money.

Either Smith didn't have a strong enough case or the whole thing was purely political.

Childish..........I'm an apologist for nobody, but as I said, you obviously need to make things simple for yourself to understand.

You used to be someone who I thought debated well, but who I disagreed with. A bit like Sid, god bless his soul.

However, you're just argumentative now, with no substance.

and yet EVERYTHING you post at GREAT length on here apologizes for the actions of Putin and Trump (and now Hitler. Is there a theme?).

Begs the question, if you're not an apologist, then what is an apologist?

or there's an historical DOJ norm not to prosecute a sitting president? Tomato tomato

I regard you having a low opinion of me as a positive!

As some one has pointed out there is a historical precedent not to prosecute a sitting president. Also the charges have been dropped without prejudice which means the case can be picked up again when he gets back into office.

The charges are all garbage but you are reading too much into it.

From the articles I have read this course of action has been taken so Trump can face these accussations again after his term in office. Any other course of action would have made that impossible.

Some of the comments on this and the other political thread astound me. How people can be blind to what is so fundamentally right from what is so obviously wrong is beyond belief. I get that a voting population can be dragged along with propaganda, promises, untruths and threats but I fail to see how a person looking from a distance with no real affiliation can be so supportive to an aggressive dictator in one case and a criminal narcissist in the other.

Just clarify this for me please; which is the Criminal Narcissist and which id the aggressive dictator again as both descriptions fit both candidates
