Thread: Has Evan’s missed the point?

    That's true Glenn and another noticeable difference is that Evans now spends most of every game sat in the dugout which must make it nigh on impossible to get a good appreciation of what is happening on the pitch.
    I don't know if he now finds standing difficult but if he really is going to revert to the old version of himself he's going to have to spend a lot more time on the touchline but that probably comes with the risk that he'll get even more yellow cards and probably a few red ones too.

    The ideal scenario for Evans (apart from being at another club!) is for him to sit in the stands where he can get an appreciation of what's happening on the pitch. I once sat in Row A after an Op and it was difficult to see anything much. At the back of the dugout he misses so much. Comms with his buddy shouldn't be a problem. He's already made reference to this in one of his post match interviews when he said something like he got a far better awareness of the tactical picture - but he failed to follow up on it. Perhaps he prefers to hide away and be close to the tunnel for a quick escape?
