So I say, if everything written about Starmer and Labour is actually true, so what? Really, so fffing what? It can only be ?as bad? at worst. And there may be a very slim chance that a different approach may bring an improvement. No, I don?t hold much hope, but it is certain that the Tories aren?t fixing anything except their own bank balances.
Beau, what the Tory lovies can't swallow is they were voted out by the General public based on what you say. They thought they were untouchable and could go on forever.

Does anyone think Starmer and Co brought in a magic wand and some fairy dust to turn it all around in an instant? It's going to take years to look anything like. The mass immigrants arriving isn't helping out economy at all. Get that sorted first!

It needs mentioning every month until such times it's been dealt with which, will be a very long time. Let's keep reminding the taxpayer out there just what a s.hithouse the Tories left it all in. ?22 Billion!!! Unbelievable Jeff.

Brin I?ve no love for the Tories but if you believe that 22 Billion figure then I?m afraid you are either in denial or incredibly naive.
You really believe what a persistent liar says beggars belief.

YAK/Mellow, gentlemen, has any Tory stepped up to denounce what Labour are claiming? The platform through the TV/media is there for them to stand up and say it's all lies or, is the debt larger and any digging may reveal more?

Post Office scandal compensation- estimated cost around ?2 billion. Amount budgeted by the last government ?0.

Infected blood scandal compensation- estimated cost ?10 billion. Amount budgeted by the last government ?0.

Do you believe that the last government didn't know that those two items were not coming?

An OBR review of the March budget concluded that an estimated ?9.5 billion of additional spending pressures were known to the Treasury but were not made known to the OBR at the time it was preparing its March forecast.

On what basis do you dispute the claim of a black hole? Not wanting to believe it doesn't wash.

This looks quite balanced on the 'black hole', conclusion that the black hole was/is there but mostly was visible before the election to anyone who cared/dared to look:
