I know the substitutions cost us any chance of winning but if they had not have been made or maybe the expected 1 or 2 were we guaranteed of beating Peterborough? That is what it sounds like.

On the day at the time I wasn?t confident

That was the dream draw this year, and with the cool story of it being where we won it. Properly gutted about that.

It?s highly unlikely we would have got Everton away in the draw.

It?s 100% likely, the ball numbers are the same in the FA Cup, determined before we even played Peterborough.

God knows how they worked out the numbers for the lower leagues, but it?s still a kick in the teeth that Peterborough got Everton. Cheers Stu.

It was cast iron certain, that was our number, the lower numbers (ie the ones not in the PL and Championship) are allocated as the results come in, not in alphabetical order, so win or lose, we would have been 56.

didn't see the game, but just listening to Stallard on Magpie Circle and he's convinced we were lucky not have lost by lots more. We can second guess his tactics and subs cuz that's football, but assuming it's SM's fault we didn't beat Posh is a bit of a reach imo.

Posh were the better team for most of the match, as you?d expect. That also doesn?t guarantee you a win if the opposition play it right, as we should knowing having lost about a dozen games where we?ve been the better team for most of the match over the last eigh**** months or so.

People aren?t angry because we lost to Peterborough, they?re angry because we were winning with 20 minutes left and made a series of decisions that unarguably made it less likely that we were going to win.

    Gutted about the draw.
I'm at Goodison on Wednesday for the Wolves game (they are my second club).
