    Haydn Hollis

I see he scored Tamworths winning penalty against Burton to give them a cracking home the against Spurs.

Morias also scored for Dagenham when they beat Wimbledon away. He meets Maccas team Millwall in the next round. Some decent draws for the minnows, apart from Tamworth v Spurs, Bromley go to Newcastle and Salford are at Man. City and we could have been at Everton😤.

That's an amazing tie and well deserved. Hollis always seemed like a nice lad. I'm glad he's managed to forge a career in the game.

Hollis refed a Sunday league game of mine way back when he was still at Notts.

The best ref I've ever had, even though he gave a penalty against me!!

Always kept up with play, constantly communicating and explaining his decisions and overall just a nice guy.

Remember going to Everton for a League cup game in 1975 - we drew 2 - 2 I think Stubbs scored. We won the replay 2 - 0 - great times

That was the round after our famous win against Leeds. Apart from the Brian Stubbs equaliser, the long journey home from Liverpool in thick fog is what I remember of that game. I prefer not to talk about the game in the following round (Newcastle).

And what memories from that night match, November 1975 beating Everton 2-0.
23,323 packed in, well chilly, cold breath everywhere under the floodlights. I was level with Bradd's diving header for our second goal. If you don't get hooked after games like that, there's no hope for you.

Tragic there is no footage of it. BBC/ITV were only allowed to record one mid-week match for highlights in those days and had to take turns to do so. Looking at that week's fixtures, I would guess the BBC approached Notts and asked to cover the game for Sportsnight and Dunnett said no, as they ended up televising an Anglo-Scottish cup tie instead.

Even if they wanted to change grounds with Spurs they wouldn?t be allowed to due to one of the stupidest rule changes in years,if a small ground pulled out a big club at home in the past they could do a ground swap which was great for everyone, more people got to see the game, the fans had a day out to remember and the club usually made enough money to last them a year but the FA changed it for whatever reason
