I subscribe to the Telegraph but every time I go for a latte and almond croissant I buy the Mail to read. Excellent newspaper, just off hand their columnists include, Graham Souness, Clive Woodward, Richard Littlejohn, Peter Hitchens, Boris Johnson, Quentin Letts, Daniel Hannan, Oliver Holt and Andrew Neil. All of them a good read, their crossword and puzzle section is the best there is, horse racing coverage better than most and best of all, it gets right up the noses of Lefties. And all for 1 pound 10 pence, you can't beat it.

Their crptic crossword is above me, I'm more Metro standard but I enjoy their General Knowledge crossword and the Cross Atlantic which is quite novel.

The cryptic is beyond me as well, Mrs S does the Crosswords and Sudoku, I do the Kakuro and the 30 Second Challenge, as long as I can do those three sums comfortably in my head I know I'm still one step ahead of dementia.

Without doubt the best puzzle section in any daily publication. I do the majority of them but enjoy the cryptic crossword most of all and then the mathematical problems etc., etc.
ALl good stuff and helps stop my inane ramblings on here -----sometimes!

I just realised how rich these lefties must be The Grauniad cost 2.80 per day, whereas, you can buy others for 1.10. Guardian for 6 days costs 17.80 whereas you could purchase another paper for 7.00 for 6 days.
