Sitting at Pittodrie in December on a Wednesday night when?s it raining and windy isn?t an enjoyable experience for anyone.Half of the people around us left at half time.
Seriously?, half the people around you left at h-t?- Is there any part of the ground where you are exposed to the wind and rain so badly that you'd leave at h-t?. As far as I can see most supporters are under cover, so they can't really have been affected by the conditions - getting there and getting home they might get a wee bit wet. Just imagine if they were supporting the Dons in the '60s - no covering, no seats, very small crowd ,nobody had heard of catering and the pitch having very little grass by this time - then walking all the way back to Northfield.

There are only 3 things guaranteed in life - death, taxes & the fact AFC winna beat the Tims.

Far from our worst performance against them, but the weather was a big leveller if were being honest.

Doohan did well - fair play son. The defence was mostly solid & McGarry & Devlin handled Kuhn & Maeda very well - but fuuck me Devlin, totally sleeping at the goal & a mile behind the rest of the back 4 to play the Tim onside.

You just canna do that against them.

Two absolute gilt edged chances late on - you just canna miss those against them.

Our shape, structure & attitude were good & we broke up countless Tim attacks, but time & again our complete inability to find a pass or retain the ball meant they were soon coming back at us again.

Until we start doing that much better, this result will never change & we probably got what we deserved in the end.

Keskinen continues to disappoint, McGrath had a poor game for him, Nesbit was ok, not great, Sokler absolutely isnt the answer up front either.

Thats been a tough run, but 2 points from 12 is a poor return so we absolutely need to get back to winning ways at the weekend.

    Far do you sit?

Think I’ve been soaked in every side of the ground depending on the way wind/rain is sheeting it…

Nail on the heed, it's maybe been a tough run of games but dropping 3 points at the 7th place side, and dropping 2 points at both the bottom 2 sides (who are both very poor) is utter mince to be fair.
Last night apart it's the previous three games where all the damage has been done and we simply must start putting it right this weekend.
Agree we are never going to beat timothy, not any time soon or in the foreseeable future anyway.
St J this weekend is a massive game and simple must win and 3 points on the board to keep that gap between us and dead team who must be thinking they are easily going to reel us in.

Sokler is worse than sh1te and Nisbet is nae much better.
What about taking a punt with Fletcher Boyd and giving him some minutes.

Regarding Devlin at the goal. He was struggling with a knock at the time.
I was surprised he took McGarry off when he did. Thought it would have been Devlin.

Regarding the weather. We've had this discussion before and we know we get spells of bad weather we also know we can get fairly decent weather in the winter too.

I sit right up the back of the South Stand and don't recall an exodus at half time, but was a lot of folk standing up at the back.
Was also a fair few folk in section Y as well throughout the game.

    .
The worst aspect of our unbeaten run was that folk were thinking we are better than we actually are.

We can moan about getting beat by St Mitten, but they have a great record against us down their and we didn't play well on the day.
Hearts are where we were at last season and take off the red tinted specs and you know they are not as bad as we think they are.

Hibs are the same as Hearts and unfortunately they didn't Hibs it last week against us.

Jimmy has done a great job and the winning run was great, but let's not deny the fact there are still glaring weaknesses in our team/squad.

I'd still rather be second top in December than second bottom like last season, so still a huge achievement overall.

I take it you wasn?t at the game last night

The wind was blowing in multiple directions so the majority of people in the lower deck were soaked, maybe the people right at the back weren?t affected but everyone around us got drenched.

I?ve sat in every stand at various times and there are areas in all of them that aren?t covered by the roofs so if the weathers brutal you are going to get soaked.

I can?t blame anyone for leaving early last night,it?s all very well saying people just got on with it back in the day but it?s not enjoyable sitting at Pittodrie on a wet and windy night in December.

Most of the countries around us have summer football and we should be the same.

He was fizzing early in the game.

We lose him for a game after his booking tonight. Will he miss the St Johnstone game?
I read somewhere it's the Hibs game. Palaversa in for him with Palvera as cover, who I thought looked good when he came on last night given he has been out for a long time

totally agree DD (fcuk me there is a first time for ahthing)
Joking aside pal with the run we had been on and the way the edinburgh teams have been perfoming this season so far it was very disappointing to drop 2 points against them both,
But yes we are a massively improved team from this time 12 months ago and we were on a great run prior to the St Mirren defeat and I have every confidence that we can go on that similar type run again (starting this weekend) JImmy has done a remarkable job and he is still like a breath of fresh air to us as a club.
Glaring weaknesses I agree we still have some, one being there is a need for striker (sokler or nisbet) are proving they are nae the answer, as I have said before about Nisbet, not sure if he lacking fitness or is just sh1te. And a need for solid reliable centre half.
Hopefully we that lined up for January and we kick on and put more daylight between ourselves and the dead huns.
    de-railment
We are more than capable of comfortably finishing runners-up this season we just need to stop this slight derailment from turning into a train wreck and we need to start with a big three points this weekend.
And yip, I would also still rather be second top in December as opposed to second bottom.

    In Jimmy Thelin we trust.
