Nice win in dire conditions. Derby are dire, the lack of enthusiasm from some of their player speaks volumes

Wasn’t able to see the second half but I expected more.
It was a chance to make a statement against a shyt Derby. ( can’t forget spygate)

Job done, well focused, stuck to the task, points added - nuff said.

With Storm Darraghs north-westerly winds of between 24 & 26 mph throughout the match & gusts of 55-60mph to contend with, a decent ER display.
Two goals, keeping a clean sheet with windy conditions throwing in additional periods of driving rain not entirely surprising that our final ball initially kept letting us down but we finished the match well.

Rothwell mixing his delivery well into the box, well timed tackles, neat sensible passes on a dodgy surface - good performance from him.
Pleased for Rodon netting & Wobbers display in the heart of the action looks promising.

Yes Derby lacked quality in most departments particularily up top but we played well in awful conditions regardless. 👏

Only negatives, imo, Solomon did look off the pace today with Derby doing an effective shut down job on him - teams are sussing his positives now, so he will have to up his game plan as will Piroe, not effective enough (again) where it matters for the team, imo.

Thought Solomon did okay and makes a lot of space for others as when he gets the ball he tends to attract two or three players.

Increasingly, not convinced by Bogle as seems to often be positionally unaware, misplaces passes and has a poor first touch when under pressure.

Struijk looked great and is so good with the ball. Rodon looked back to his best form from last year.

Rothwell and Tanaka again looked good.

Also thought Joseph looked very good when he came on.

Lots of positives and could easily have been 4 or 5.
