Crap day, crap weather, crap performance, crap result.

Another defensive holocaust of a goal. Honest to god.

Nilssen as much at fault as McGarry but fuuck sake lads, these brain farts are killing us.

Pass marks for Milne (MOTM) & Doohan. The rest varied from meh to abysmal.

This defence just wont do. Far too many stupid goals conceded. I lost count of the amount of times they let the ball bounce out there, absolute basics not being done.

At least Jimmy T is getting the full picture of our deficiencies - we need a Pollock/McDonald CH signing January here.

A proper number 9 would be nice too.

We all appreciate Rome wasnt built in a day & Thelin needs time, so lets hope he can make some astute additions in January that start to address some of the issues.

Ah tend nae tae comment/analyse on the odd 'blip' ... or when we lose a game tae a proven better side ... but ... holy f*ck ... that was sh!te.

Dinna get me wrang, there were some bonny bits o' interplay, but there were jist as much ugly as f*ck breakdoons due tae bad passin' ... a fundamental skill required o' any person wishin' tae be regarded as a footballer.

Ye might say StJ were better/lucky in gettin the most of second balls (does that mean they had a full set? ) ...but ye can only get 'second balls' when possession is lost or compromised ... and apart fae fan we were tappin' the baa back an' forth an' sidewyes in our ain half ... we were rarely in control.... regardless o' percentage possession.

If we're countin' balls, and we're thinkin out o' the sack, we had plenty delivered intae the box ... but nithin remotely 'laid on a plate'.

Jack Milne was impressive in his endeavour tae tackle and win back possession ... whilst most others were standin' off ... like waitin' for their fkn lottery ticket tae come good.... this was pleasin' as Ah reckon there's mair tae come fae this guy.

As for the goal we lost .... Ah totally disagree wi BBC Scotlands 'analysis' pointin oot McGarry as the culprit.

Aye, OK, he's nae the best in the nest ... and kickin' a baa aff yer ain coupon wid be funny if yer shirt was a diffrent colour, but ... 6 seconds afore the goal, Kampioka(?) is surrounded by 3 red shirts ... any o' whom could hae just fkn booted it or stuck their foot on it.

Ah fkn hate the BBC for many reasons ... and Ah'm 13/14 quid better aff a month since Ah tellt them far tae shove their licence fee ... but Ah did think they could comment on fitba at least ... but ffs .. this is analysis near enough a hale day efter the game ... plenty time tae 'analyse' ... and this pish?

    Analogy.

If ye hit some poor bugger wi' yer car .... yer up for some serious charge or anither ... dependin' on the condition ... or non-condition o' said poor bugger.

"Ah fell asleep" .... Cheerio ... mak sure ye dinna drap the soap.
"Ma brakes failed" ..... likely story ... cheerio!
"Ma brakes did fail ... and the forensics on ma cars functions back it up" .... remanded pending further investigation.
"But Ah did comply wi' timely an' regular MOTs ... Ah've got the documents" .... remanded pending further investigation.

Driver admonished, Brakes found faulty, MOT cert dodgily awarded, Fortune charged for works not done, Company wriggle, Employee sacked, Civil case launched.

In view of the above, it might be easy to exonerate McGarry, but ffs ... A load o' sh!te happened before Nilsen did his worst by tryin tae dae his best under pressure which should never hae been exerted.

    ... so ... f*ck the BBC!

Ive read a few comments like that recently and Im curious about whats going to happen if we continue a winless run through Christmas and New Year.

I dont think we will but even if we did then Thelins going to be given time to build something.

We have players in the squad that our last 3 or 4 managers havent been able to get a tune out of so if Thelin cant either then maybe its time to move them on.
Dinna get me wrong Rico I am nae complaining or b1tching as where we are today under the Thelin reign is streets ahead of where any of us thought we would be at this stage.
What will happen if we dont fix the recent run urgently and turn it around is we will possibly be struggling to finish top 4 and then miss out on a pop at eurpoean football again. And as stated by Colgate teeeth and the board, that is a minimum benchmark / requirement for any Aberdeen squad. With our recent run of sh1te then sadly the dead huns will be above us and will finish 2nd, JIm fkn Goodwin and Scumdee United are on a decent run and must be fancying their chances of closing in on us if we carry on going as we are currently are. Our last 5 games we got a total of 3 points. Their last 5 games they got a total of 9.
Thelin will get the time needed to put it right as he deserves that as he clearly is a decent manager, and as you say there are players there that he canna get a tune out of, so they should be shipped out.
Nisbet should be sent back Millwall as he is mince.

We are clearly heading in the right direction and we finally have a proper manager who will get it right.
Getting into Europe will give us some more cash as sadly today's game is all about money and without the addtional money form any european "run" that we might get on then it is going to take Thelin longer to build his own squad.

    In Thelin we trust.

It was McGarrys howler that caused the goal though, however much you might not want to blame him. It was unfortunate and he could never do it again no matter how hard he tried. I just hope he claimed an assist bonus from the St Johnstone boy.

You'd be piishing your pants if it was a player of any other club that had done it.

Rod Stewart was at the game, apparently.

Does he not have his own team to watch?

He's a bit of a glory hunter, so understandably he wants in on the Thelin revolution.

He was also at the glorified chipper down at fittie.
