The key short-term concern for Israel, is any remaining stocks of chemical and other strategic weapons.

Israel’s actions are not motivated by territorial ambitions or a desire for conflict with the Syrian regime but are aimed at preemptive defense and safeguarding Israeli citizens.

''IDF is not advancing on Damascus. ''
I notice you lot are wheeling out the old "Chemical Weapons" excuse again for bombing the pfhuck out of Damascus.

Amid toppling of Assad, Kurds in Syria appeal to Israel for help
This comes as the regime of former Syrian president Bashar al-Assad was crumbling, and the country was taken over by Islamist rebels.

Turkish-backed Syrian rebels announced that they had begun attacking Kurdish forces in the Manbij area in northern Syria, northeast of Aleppo.

Israel, which views the Kurdish community as a friendly and Western-oriented entity, has been working with Western countries since the beginning of the current campaign to ensure the security of the Kurds within the emerging new reality in Syria.

And the Kurds, along with about 900 US soldiers, are charged with keeping in camps in northern Syria more than 10,000 Jihadists. Turkey's proxies will now be attacking the Kurds and attempting to free these maniacs. Israel, unlike Turkey and Iran, does not use proxies, they do the job themselves, they put their own boots on the ground, they risk their own lives. Proper men and women, a proper country.

'' "Chemical Weapons" excuse again for bombing the pfhuck out of Damascus.???''

Question? Do Al-Qaeda and Al-Nusra alumni strike you as reasonable? A peaceful flock?”

''Bye the way Israel does not bomb Damascus!'' Where would they flee too ? Britain?

I would turn down the invitation Balan, I don't socialise with racists and anti-semites.
