As others have said, first half was poor. We looked awful going forward and a bit disjointed defensively.

First 20 minutes of the second was much better. We looked fluid on the ball and played the game much higher up the pitch.

2 very different goals. Nwakali?s was individual brilliance and great technique. DKD?s was a fantastic team goal and very well worked.

Going back to Nwakali, he has to be one of the first name?s on the team sheet now. He very rarely wastes anything and is always available/has time on the ball. Phillips coming back from suspension might mean that Russell?s time in the starting eleven is up.

And the team total was 74%. Take Nwakali out of that figure and it doesn?t say very much about our passing. I?ve moaned about this before but it?s a real problem, puts us under pressure.

Otherwise we?ll done on the result just what was needed.

Poor goal to concede. Something tells me the injuries, and suspensions now, may not be the poison chalice.
Not the best performance, some rough. A result non the less.
    Take that. ….and party.

More intensity , we worked harder and were more positive .

First half we made Exeter look much better than they actually were .

Saying that I'd take their central defender Tristan Crama all day long who is on loan to them from Brentford , absolute class act and has one thing we haven't got , pace .

Who the feck is running the recruitment strategy these days ?
Whoever it is ? hasn?t replaced Cole, Mcatee, Kane, kitchen, Williams, cadden, Sibbick, Mowatt, Woodrow, Morris, Isted, Mawson, Arblaster, Thomas, Les Lea, Ironside, Downes, Millar, Earnshaw. Beaumont Asquith, lol Chappel??? just to name a few??.
I will be listing them every other post (Copy/paste available for replies too)?..

Every now and then and it is every now and then in league one you see a player who is way way above the league he's in .

The thing that really pyssed me off is that Tristan Crama is made for playing in a back three system , hell would freeze over before we ever play with a back four again !!

Most of the time players are shoehorned in to a back three system but Crama is made for it as the middle man with two either side .

How the hell can you miss a player like this who is available on loan for the season and could even buy him ?

What the hell are these people doing all week ?

Are you new on here ???

Didn?t I go purposely to the Supporters Trust Meeting to ask that same question ???
And didn?t we all have a lengthy discussion on here after that ???

Just as a reminder - James Cryne has left recruitment.

You know, that fella that I said is a genius in finding rough diamonds that have gone on to sell for millions.
The same fella who Neerav described as the person that prevented the club from folding.
That?s right - not just Patrick - but also James.

Since James left the building the recruitment has shown IMO a definite dip in its success.

We have had two HCs since then - one that was unbelievably totally inappropriate who played a completely different style to the Game Model - and another that?s far from getting the best out of the players he?s got.
Then we have gapping holes in the squad - notably strikers.

Now it maybe a huge coincidence that these things have occurred since James left the building.
But I don?t think it is.

I?m suspecting that Sormaz?s time at the club is under pressure.
If he doesn?t pull a couple of rabbits out of the hat this January - he will be gone in the summer.

I missed the game yesterday. Taking from what I read on here, we responded very well to a early setback and a poor first half and got a much needed win with two good goals. Chuffed wi that. Exeter is never an easy place to go.
