According to the minutes of a Dee4life board of directors meeting earlier this year a lot of people became new members of Dee4life in September 2022 probably as a result of several prominent members of the Open Letter Group becoming external directors of Dee4life in June 2022.
Nelmsy wanted the members of the Open Letter Group to come under the control of the DSA to silence them.
It never happened because only Dundee FC supporters clubs are allowed to join the DSA.

What would happen if Dee4Life filled in an application to join the DSA. Ran supporters buses and act like a supporters club? Just asking.

It would be absorbed by DSA and treated as a daughter organisation - it's been tried.

John Nelms would then pressure the DSA committee to get all the cash that Dee4ife has banked and to pass it to him.

    Without asking questions.

    Without wondering why.

But hey, they'd get first choice of tickets for away games.

The DSA was previously part of Dee4life up to August 2014 when certain DSA members pushed for the DSA to leave Dee4life and become a separate organisation.
This move suited John Nelms down to the ground as instead of being one strong supporter group we now have fragmented groups where Nelms shows favouritism to the DSA because they do his bidding and do not ask him difficult questions about the running of Dundee Football Club.

You are possibly not aware that Ian Baird and Bob Hynd had a meeting with Ian Crichton who was the Dundee Football Club financial director in November 2019.
The meeting was an attempt to get a Dee4life Director appointed as the Primary representative on the Dundee Football Club Limited board of directors.
Ian Crichton wanted Dee4life to hand over all their funds and shares in Dundee Football Club Limited including their A shares to the Dundee FC Community Trust.
There are no prizes for guessing that the DFC Ltd shares including the A shares would have been promptly transferred to FPS.
Dee4life would have been no more.
Fortunately this attempt to get rid of Dee4life never happened as Ian Crichton?s proposal was immediately rejected.

Ian Crichton, under the direction of John Nelms, made more attempts than that to close down DFCSS (as was at the time) and to get those shares and that cash.

    Thanks for the information.
I was pretty sure that Ian Crichton was being told what to do by John Nelms.
It would be interesting to know if Tim Keyes was aware that John Nelms was wanting DFCSS (Dee4life) closed down.
I previously told my fellow Dee4life directors that they should bypass John Nelms and send any emails to Tim Keyes where they might have more success.

I still think they were slightly shocked at the half dozen or so people who spoke out at the hold his feet to the fire meeting.....not the sorta folk they REALLY want attending.
The Dee4life board of directors have held two strategy meetings.
The first one was took place in August 2023 and it was held in the house of the Dee4life vice chairman at that time.
The second one was held on 31st August 2024 in Downfield Golf Club.
I know a person who was at the first strategy meeting in August 2023.
I asked him what was discussed and he rattled off a list of all the strategies they discussed.
To each strategy I replied that it had been discussed by previous Dee4life board of directors.
In my opinion the Dee4life board of directors need to go back to basics and get all the information from their previous website uploaded onto their new website.
Then they might know how many directors require to be present at a Dee4life board of directors meeting for it to be quorate.
The new Dee4life website no longer lists the names and details of their current directors.

    Any bombshells?
I have one about the site of the new stadium development at the former NCR Camperdown playing fields which I have known about since 2019 but this is the wrong topic for this information.

You should start a thread to discuss it
