That would bump us up to about 12th/13th if other teams carry on with their current form, and still about 8 points off the play-offs. The start has been so poor that we really need to be hitting at least 10 points from a 5 game run to stay anywhere near the hunt, and then we have games with Wycombe, Brum and Bolton soon after those. I'm sure someone in NYS has a calculator and realises it's a 2 points a game average from here on to realistically hit the top 6, so they either have faith we will, are waiting for another dip to sack SE, or have settled for L1 next season. Whichever it is, we should know by mid January.

I am a believer in that SE will bring success to the club but unlike most people on here, I am a realist and appreciate that things will take time to turn. My beef is with the people on here who consistently try to hound SE out of the club as though there is someone in the wings who is going to perform a miracle.
