    That's how they look at it, they know they'll get at least 8,000 even at ?33 but there's risk that they might not get many more than that if the price was reduced, especially given the day and time of kick off with the TV coverage. If they reduced to ?26 and only 9,500 were to turn up they'd get ?234,000 which they'd consider a ?30,000 loss.

    It's about income, not fans.

    This means that the Dabs will also lose out as the gate is split 50:50 after the deduction of the home club’s expenses, VAT and from memory 5% to the SFA.
