Thread: Celtic (H)

Great point today, really solid performance.
For all the possession they had it's not as if they cut through us more than once or twice. Normally we need luck to get anything but I thought we thoroughly merited the result.

Nearly made a last minute ticket purchase, but decided against it and kinda regret watching on the tele now.

Thoroughly entertaining game and a fantastic effort from everyone. Thought Sevelj, Holt and Middleton were superb today, and a we bit more luck should have seen us score. I think that would have unleashed the beast and onto a doing!

Just cant help thinking what could have been after the last 2 games!

Well done United! Unexpected point against the invincibles. Every point is a prisoner and we've done well so far this season - especially in light of sustaining a few injuries to key players through the season to date.

Keep up the good work Jim & the boys.

Second team this season to take points off Celtic but first team to prevent them scoring in the Premiership!

An unexpected point but more importantly, a clean sheet that should bring some confidence to our defence who had seem to have lost there way over recent weeks. Hopefully that result and team spirit keeps going for the next few games and we manage to get some more points on the board. The next few weeks could be crucial in where we end up this season, so this is potentially a very nice shot in the arm in the right time. One game at a time!!!

Ah bless so was your support a power of empty seats in the fox stand , and Celtic had the shed can you only sell out and fill 3 ends when you play the big team up the road

Its a big stand Notsobright,it actually holds more than the number of home fans who attend Dens for most of your games.

If TheAuldHunStand blew down and you had to play at Tannadice you could comfortably house the 'home' support in the George Fox and give the rest of the ground to the OF,Sheep and us of course.
