Wonderful, up there with the best performances of the season.

Great to see us go to a tricky place and look so superior, very encouraging if we can keep our team at full strength.

    People have to start realising....
This is a more insane league than the NL.
Anybody can beat anybody on any given day.
It's extremely tight and very competitive.
Cheltenham are 14th with 30 points
Doncaster are in autos on 36 points. That's mental.

Yes, the Salford performance was unacceptable but since then we've literally gone back to our old selves and killed it and that's a sign that the manager and players are up for the fight.
We looked like the home team today. We made MK look extremely average.

Whoever the 'Maynard out' idiots are. Keep your banners in your cellar and stop crying like little girls. Sort it out. Have some ****ing intelligence about the situation.

L2 is unforgiving and difficult and there's no way we should be 'walking' the league.

For me, Maynard is doing well. He's stepped up to this level and he can clearly cope.
So why don't you all just get behind him and the lads and stop with your crying.

I?ve not seen or listened to the game but a 2-0 win away from home against a fellow promotion contender is a fantastic result. Added to this back to back wins with the other win being against Bradford can only be a confidence boost. We also have yet another clean sheet to add to this seasons tally. Also today we have not had to rely on Jatta and McGoldrick to get the goals is another positive. Crowley being back is clearly helping to make a difference as well. Let?s hope Salford was our lowest point and we can now push on a build an unbeaten run and pick up some more points against Cheltenham and Walsall.

fans, myself included, can fret over SM's exact performance, but the last two games leave me in no doubt as to the players desire to play for him. And there's some pretty experienced players in there.

Awesome result today! Maybe season influencing.

The last two games have put an ever so slightly better look to the goal difference.

Almost halfway through the season. Three points off the second placed team with a game in hand and a better goal difference. Our next game against the team in 14th - who are 4 points behind us. Madness.

I think that's the most I've enjoyed watching Notts in months. We pressed much, much more effectively across the pitch than maybe we had been. And while our crosses were often pants, it felt like we had goals in us via other routes for once.

Also I always forget just how dirty MK seem to be. Niggling little fouls all the damn time. I thought the ref and team were very good.

Nor me, I thought a point was probably our best hope. Three points at Stadium MK must go down as a great outcome and at least 2 points "recovered" from the disappointment at Salford. It would seem that the return of one of our star players in Dan Crowley is corresponding with an upturn in performances and results.

The division is starting to play out as many of us anticipated at the start of the season with 14 teams in with a realistic chance of getting promoted coming up to the halfway stage. Walsall are pulling away at the top and next week at home it will be a perfect opportunity to stop them and close the gap. First though another team up next in Cheltenham who we need to get something from to keep them out of the playoffs and at arms length.

Dropping out of the playoffs may have been a bit of wake up call and we have had to fight to get back in them and stay in there by beating Bradford and MK Dons.

We are now only two points behind automatic promotion places with a game in hand so are right in the mix. That’s a decent place to be in and it’s something we need to maintain.

As for SM I’ve not doubted once throughout his tenure the players are not on board. All teams have a bad run or a blip. We have had injuries to key players in the first half of the season. Crowley is back and that’s lifted the team, Abbotts getting on the scoresheet now, JJ will be returning soon hopefully. Our defence has gone back to being solid. There is an opportunity to in January to bring players in, so lots to be positive about for the second half of the season. On paper we should be stronger in the second half of the season than the first half. Plus those who joined in the summer will have now had six months to settle in.

    Keep the faith.
