That kind of reliance on ownership just to pay the bills leaves me thinking what happens if they walk away , there isn't anyone buying this lame duck in my opinion which means administration .

I understand that Millers fans are fed up this season - the unfulfilled expectations etc - and of course, SE and TS are taking a lot of flak. I recall the buzz when a certain Anton Johnson came to us as Chairman - and how that went sour. I used to think that AJ looked like he just failed an audition for the Brotherhood of Man. Some may want rid of TS, but he isn?t quite of the Spiv type that we could end up with

Yes. Around the time TS took over, a young man named Pep was just starting his managerial career. If only TS had known

I don't know why you would think that. Perhaps you should ask them.
All I know is, judging by comments on social media, a lot of people seem to have been upset at the way the club has been run for some time.
If you think all is well that's fine.
Think you have misread my post. When I said it was strange, You implied it was inevitable as this is a regular occurrence in business/football. So if folks are now getting upset then what's the point as you pointed out it's inevitable and was always going to happen.
Btw i wont read social media as it's full of half truths and bullshine.

I remember Anton Johnson well from the early 80's , didn't he provide the funds for Ronnie Moore , Tony Towner and John Seasman ?

I just don't know anymore about the game today , I'm pretty disillusioned with it to be honest and that's in general not just with things over here .

Covid had a massive impact on myself when we couldn't go to games and it made me realise I didn't really miss going that much .

I've always had an interest in Rugby League and gone along to Wakefield Trinity , it was always my second love but now it's overtaken football .

It's had to move with the times no doubt , Super League and switching from winter to summer for instance but it's still kept its heart and soul in a way football has lost it .

The average salary for a Super League player is ?60k a year because that's what the game can afford , they have a salary cap , your limited to only 6 foreign players in the squad .

We can have a few beers whilst watching the game and you appreciate some real athletes going toe to toe every week .

With the funding available, Rotherham cannot sustain Championship football, but at least we've had a decade of flirting with it. That's more than Cambridge, Lincoln and Northampton supporters can say and a hell of a lot more than, say, Bury supporters have enjoyed.

I can be as positive as I like about my chances of winning the lottery, but my mental state has no bearing upon the likelihood of it happening, so I don't rail against the fact that I almost certainly won't and mope about it.
It's nothing like your lottery example.
Your post takes a common and fairly negative "be careful what you wish for" attitude.
I'm just saying that changes of ownership don't always have to be bad. Some similar sized clubs to ourselves have owners who have a clear vision backed up by realistic plans and are enjoying relative success as a result.
Unfortunately our current owner doesn't appear to have either of those and has recently admitted to losing interest anyway.
Consequently we are slowly, or maybe rapidly, sliding downwards and the concern is that TS is taking us back to where he found us, just in a much nicer rented house of which he is the landlord.

    .
No, he just spent all the money that the previous chairman had accrued while running the club in a sensible fashion within its means, whilst pretending to be the big benefactor. He left the club in a mess it never really recovered from until TS took over.

    Hmmmmm

    1-1 result

Corals offered odds of 5/1 the draw and
9/2 Louie Barry as first goalscorer.
I had a small punt on both.

    Up The Millers!!
