    How quickly some forget
I said he should face media like they do in Europe or should the coach take ALL the flak if it goes wrong ?

He has signed some good players but we've had some real duffers and medical room players that HE bought in.

We have a depleated squad as RM has gambled on far too many players just take a look over last few years they arent all good signings.

That is of course the safe and easy stance to take with all Notts managers.

How many managers or head coaches could you see leading us to success?

Forget Notts, does that happen at any club in England. If it does I?ve not seen it.

His number of duffers is very favourable to the previous people responsible for recruitment. It?s not even close.

When was the last time we had someone find a player for ?50k and sell fore a reported ?750-800K?

Do you think we will turn a profit on the ?125K spent on Jatta?

Didn't Cal Roberts join us under the Reedtz Bros.? I reckon we might have made a few bob there too. Not forgetting Aaron Nemane recently, of course.

It would help others understand better if you quoted the post you are referring to.

    Forza Maynard.
Maybe but a daft post in the first place.

Roberts, Burchnall, Williams, Langstaff, Nemane all recruited by the recruitment team headed by Montague, all received a fee/compensation, all made a profit.

Before the Reedtz Bros was the last manager we received compensation for Allardyce in 1999? What was the last big fee we sold a player for? What year?

A former poster asked exactly those questions on a very regular basis.

I just can't think who it was!

No team will get every signing right.

Doesn?t matter how much background work you do there are variables you have no control over, including how they settle in to a new club, new place to live etc.

Even top Prem clubs have players who just don?t work out, some of them multi-millions of ?s. Jaden Sancho for example and you would have to question even Jack Grealish. Doesn?t mean that he isn?t a good player though.

Signing players will never be an exact science.
