I saw a clean, professional, well managed win. After 30 minutes we were 2 up and it could have been 6. Normally this would have been a golden chance to humiliate the arrogant cnts at home but I saw us taking the foot off the gas to save ourselves for Spurs. I like this thinking, its cold, its what we need to do.

The game was won, under control and once the lads saw no threat it was job done. I have no doubt if they pulled one back we'd have went up a gear.

The Man U fans are beyond meltdown and relegation is possible here for them, Liverpool thrn Arsenal compounded by Ipswich winning the are only 7 points off the drop zone. This team is in trouble.
Like the thought process, but 2-0 is not a secure enough lead, and they had a lot of chances after Mainoo came on? which better teams will put away. Casemiro easily had time to take a touch.

If the scoreline had been 3-0 and we?d shut up shop then the above would have made more sense (to me), but if they get 1 back and the crowd comes back online? then it becomes dicey.

But we got the result at the end of the day, I was just disappointed we didn?t put them to the sword but I can see the benefits of keeping gas in the tank for Spurs.

As for their squad? the vast majority needs replaced.

They don?t have a captain that is gonna pull his socks up and lead by example.

Out of their players? Mainoo, Ugarte, Mazraoui are keepers. Not seen enough of De Ligt or Yoro. Hojlund has something, but he needs to be at a club with an established main striker he can learn from and not have the pressure all on his shoulders (bit like when we had Jon Dahl Tomasson and he couldn?t take it and went on to have a cracking career when he left)

Maybe 6 players out of their entire squad I would keep? they have a few kids coming through that they probably should promote now, but they won?t shift the likes of Rashford and Casemiro easily on >300k/week.

I hope PIF have already told their clubs no Man Utd players after the way Ratcliffe handled the Ashworth situation.
