Putting the politics aside, I'm looking forward to this game. The encounter at their place was a close game where each side laiked some decent stuff at times, although i thought we just edged it in terms of performance on the night. They then score a 30 yard worldy late on to win it as is normally the case when things ate going well for you.
They're probably the hardest working and fittest opposition I've seen us play so far this season. As i said on another thread, they keep it tight away from home only scoring 8 yet only conceding 8 in their 10 away games this season which have yielded 3 wins, 4 draws and 3 defeats. Couple that with our poor home form and the most likely outcome is probably a draw. However, we're favourites according to the bookmakers @ 6/5 for a home victory and 21/10 for an away win.
Let's hope the weather is kind and the match takes place. Let's start 2025 off with a much needed home win and keep our mini run of victories going.
