Wouldn't have minded Robbins tbh. Speculation by some now around Swansea's Luke Williams. Could just be lazy journalism of course. Heitinga still seems to be the name mentioned most which may not be a bad shout. We will see.

Given the previous approaches allegedly made to Corberan, it would seem strange if Nestor and the club did not already have some names in mind as part of a contingency plan. In the meantime, I think Brunt and co. will manage ok. Certainly the showing against the Blades would indicate the support of the players as well as a uniform desire to succeed (and the style of football was more entertaining too)

There's been lots of chatter about his former assistant Adi Viveash being the brains of the operation at Coventry and how the wheels came off when he left during the summer.

I suppose we're going to find out whether that's got any truth to it or whether having been at Coventry so long things just got a bit stale. That and whether Stoke really is a managerial graveyard.

Think Williams is just idle gossip. Why would he leave Swansea to come to us as they are not a smaller club than us and can?t believe we would pay more than what he?s on!

What has Williams achieved anyway to get you excited?

Wish the club would get a move on as any new manager needs to choose his own incomings and certainly none earmarked by the past manager. We don?t need more rubbish like Cole, McDair, Racic, Frabotta, Holgate and Dobbin the horsey!

Doesn't excite me at all. Robbins was the best option on the list unless the Liverpool guy comes good.
