We don?t have a better squad than we have had in previous seasons. I can?t really think of many signings we made in the summer that has made us any better?

Obviously they all looked good at the start of the season but the problem now is whatever team Thelin puts out on Sunday is more than likely going to get the same result at the moment.

If I?m going to criticise Thelin for anything it would be down to his stubbornness of not giving some of the youth players a chance.

Sometimes these young players come in with no fear and I was hoping to see Boyd and Stewart come on today to see what they could do. I was very disappointed when he decided to bring on McGarry Polvara and Ambrose instead.

To be fair I don't think anyone is expecting all our problems to be solved in January but by Christ we need to stem the flow in January or this could go on record as the biggest fall from grace for any professional team in recent times.

We're currently relying on players, that have been involved in abysmal results in the past few years, to get us out of this and going by how many managers we've punted because of them then I don't fancy our chances of salvaging anything with this lot.

Jimmy needs to make a good few signings to instil a fresh mentality for 2025, if we don't change that then your Mackenzies, Shinnies McDonalds etc will drag Topi, Nilsen etc down to their level.

Come the summer we'll automatically be down 5 or so players out of contract and that opens the possibilities for more signings required to repeat the remarkable start we had to this season.

I wrote many times to get MacDonald into the team.

    I was wrong.

Plays decent in a three, but not in a four and like watching Anthony Stewart when he is trying to play it out from the back.

I'm quite sure that's what Jim Goodwin has done at United..no?

Just watched the highlights. Second goal for county FFS.

Had chances in the second half and think the ref called it right on Duk and his reputation isn't helping him.

When your lucks out, it's out and ours is most certainly out.

irrespective of the lucky start and lucky run of results we had to the season.
Any team returning 3 points from a possible 27 and then their manager's jacket would be hanging on a shoogly peg. I guess that cant be the case here as we canna jist go on binning managers and hoping that the next one will get it right. Hope is never a winning strategy.
Heat of the moment couple of weeks back I was saying get rid, but no we canna get rid of him, but we should be getting rid of at least 75% of that starting 11 from last night.
Fk me Aberdeen should be beating the likes of Ross fkn County easily, it's not so long ago they were a mid table mediocre Highland League team ffs, let that sink in for a minute.
I think Thelin maybe can change this, but not with the players he has, so let's see if slippery fish colgate teeth backs him or has this "he was always our main target" all been blah blah blah.

Thelin is showing a bit of stubbornness as well, and he needs to bin that. (Robson was stubborn and look where that got him)
I guess we need to be patient and give Thein needs at least the full current season but fk me he needs to start getting a tune out of these muppets.
Yes looking back I do honestly believe our fortunate start / run earlier on was down to a lot of good luck rather than playing good football.
But it still got us a return of 31points from 11 games from these same muppets that followed that with a return of 3points from 9 games.
What the actual fk has happened

I find it very odd that every winter our form goes to sh1t.

This year with the start we made it?s nosedived off a cliff but every season since Cormack has been in charge it?s been the same at this time of year and it cant just be down to the managers.

I dont know this for sure but I have heard that the players dont get to train that much at Cormack park in the winter and just do light training at the sports village?

Whatever the reason is its something that needs to be addressed by the club because it cant keep going on like this every season.

Why wouldn't they be able to train at Cormack Park during winter?

The weather isn't usually that bad and always kids using it in the evening when I'm going home.

We should have built a proper indoor facility as well at the time, would have worked out cheaper in the long run.

Maybe get them training at the beach and Seaton park to toughen them up

Should also have said the ref was shyte yesterday too. That incident near the end with the flat ball summed up his general shyteness.

Poor topi was getting his shirt ripped off him at points and ref just turned a blind eye.

Didn't contribute to our downfall, but he was still shyte.

I dont know if thats true I just heard a few people saying they hardly train there in the winter and are seen training at the sports village a lot.

Either way something is afoot at the club considering we have ended up sacking our manager every winter on a yearly basis since 2021.

If that was continue this year then that should be the end of a lot of people within the club.
