Tidy win, never really in doubt, though a bit wasteful 2nd half. With players coming back and hopefully some quality to be added, only ourselves to blame if we don?t make top 3 this season.

Just the Notts tendency to royally cock things up can stop us surely.

Solid and professional today, heard Maynard saying 7 had started all 5 games which is some going.
Didzy MOTM, thought Austin was excellent, he must cover some ground, he?s definitely one of my favourite players even if he?s not one of our best ones.

Austin was immense today. It?s been a very tough 15 days but 12pts from 15 well deserved.

Really good performances today from everyone,DMc superb and Austin & Martin just seem to get better and better with each game!
A few of the boys looked absolutely knackered towards the end so a week before the next game will be a godsend!
Don?t know if JJ was struggling with that kick he got earlier but he didn?t look too comfortable walking off at the end!

Yes but, you know, if we'd beaten Walsall we could amass another 69 points, giving us 109 in total and putting to bed for ever the SM v LW discussion.

Great to get the win and keep a clean sheet as well. A professional job done and we got the three points which is all that matters. Didzy was deservedly MOM and was unfortunate to not get his hatrick. I thought we created more chances in the second half and could easily have doubled our lead. At some point between now and the end of the season it would not surprise me if we don't hit someone for five or six.

As mentioned at half time I thought Austin has come through this five game period with immense credit. The same goes for Martin who has shown he has something about him. Another positive is we have seen JJ being reintroduced into the team. Abbott has grown into this team as well and Palmer is back doing what he has always done. I didn't think things quite work out for Crowley at times today but he is always looking to do something positive. I thought McDonald was solid today and really offers something physical at the back, but also took the ball forward as he did early on against Walsall. Hopefully Jatta has not picked up another head injury after getting concussion early on in the season as he has also gone up the gears in this five game spell.

Some good post match comments by Ian Holloway as well and he was very complimentary of us and dignified in his post match interview as well as being honest. He also made the point of our style of play and how SM has got us playing and describing how we rotate and keep possession. I think we are playing our best football since SM and his management team came into the building and when opposition managers are giving credit then credit to SM and his management team as well as the players for turning things around since Salford.

12 points from 15 points is title winning form at 2.4 points per game. So now we can rest and have a typical week in the run up to the Grimsby game. Hopefully we can go on an unbeaten run and string some more winning streaks and keep climbing on an upward trajectory.
